Catholic Family Grant Program
The St. John the Evangelist Parish Catholic Family Grant Program exists to provide aid to families that need financial support to provide a Catholic education for their children in grades kindergarten through eighth. This year the Parish Finance Committee and Pastoral Council have pledged monies, as needed, up to $130,000 for the Program. Grants are awarded to families on the basis of both demonstrated need and level of participation in the ministries of the Catholic Church. Preference is given to registered parishioners and families who give most generously of their time, talent and treasure to the campus-wide community of St. John the Evangelist. If you believe your resources are not sufficient to meet the total cost of a St. John education, you are encouraged to apply. The application for this grant can be found here.

Archdiocese of Baltimore Tuition Assistance Program
Funds are available through the Archdiocese of Baltimore Scholarship Fund. You may qualify for assistance from this fund (in addition to) any funds you may have received from the St. John Catholic Family Grant Program or any other parishes’ tuition assistance program. More information about this fund, as well as several other Archdiocesan Scholarships can be found on the Archdiocese’s website.
Other Local Parishes
Families registered with other parishes are encouraged to apply for a grant through the pastor at your home parish. Many local parishes have funds available from their local share of the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal. For more information you should contact your pastor or Parish Office directly.
The NET Credit program relies upon the talents and shared experiences of our current students, parents/guardians and faculty. The idea behind the program is for current members of the school community to receive a tuition discount after eligible new students are referred to attend St. John the Evangelist School in the 2020-2021 school year. For each new eligible student that meets the criteria, the referring parent/guardian or teacher may be eligible to receive a $800 NET that can be applied to tuition expenses for the following school year.
