We believe in the role of school in the nurturing and development of children to be responsible citizens with servant hearts in this world. Service to others through prayer and acts of charity is not just something we do at St. John, it is who we are.

  • Food collection for the St. Vincent DePaul Society, SPAN, Little Sisters of the Poor and  Lighthouse Shelter in Annapolis.
  • Towel and washcloth collection for Happy Helpers for the Homeless with notes of prayer and encouragement
  • Sunrise Assisted Living outreach and visits
  • Baby item collection and prayers for mothers and babies in need at Mary’s Center
  • Meal preparation for homeless families residing at Sarah’s House
  • Money collection for Pediatric Cancer and Holy Childhood Association
  • Faculty participation in Catholic Charities Dragon Boat Race raising money and paddling for the DePaul House Senior Living
  • Shoe collection for Feet for Francis
  • Operation Gratitude
  • Food for the Poor collection to provide live animals for impoverished countries in Central America
