Extended Care

St. John the Evangelist provides on-site before and after-school care for grades PK-8, as well as after-school care for full-day pre school students. Morning care is available from 7:00 to 8:00 a.m.; afternoon care is available from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. The program includes homework assistance, a variety of planned activities, and a snack.

The program is available to registered students on most days of scheduled school closings. Parents interested in this service should register online (see below).

Online Registration

Parents interested in registering for Full-time Before and/or After Care Programs for the 2023-24 school year should fill out the Online Registration Form and then complete the process by submitting the required State of Maryland paper forms (Medical Inventory and Emergency Contact forms).

Whether you are new to our School and/or the Extended Care Program, or a “veteran” you can submit your registration information NOW for the 2023-24 school year. Your registration will be unconfirmed until all forms are submitted and you are contacted to finalize your registration. Billing will begin just before the start of the school year, for those families who have confirmed registrations. The Online Registration Form can be found here.

Please contact the School Office if you cannot complete the online registration and need to have a full set of paper forms mailed to you. You may also pick them up in the School Office.
